I just regripped a fairway and now have decided to swap out the shaft. Is it possible to remove the grip on the old shaft and use it on the new shaft. Its not a big deal as its only a few extra bucks for a new grip, just curious if this could be done.

Yes you can re- use the grip. It's very simple if you have a v groove grip remover. If you go to the Golf Works site and search part # VGGR .They are around $20.It very easy to use.Just slip the metal rod between the grip and the tape, pour a little solvent in the v groove on the rod and slowly work the rod around the shaft as you slip it further into the grip. When it begins to bind add a little more solvent and continue this procedure until you reach the bottom of the grip.Once the the seal created by the tape is broken the grip slids off fairly easily.I save a lot of good grips this way.Hope this helps.G.
