Is it possible to remove light scratches that occur on the face of a club? I think I read about somebody using a really fine grit sandpaper but I don't know if that sounds like a good idea. I have a baffler pro, in case that's of any consequence.

a fitter at my old work uses a 'rock' type thing. It is a rubber kinda, but it has minute silcone particles embedded within the rubber. trust me it removes most light scratches.

Hydrochloric Acid can probably remove the Chrome of your club, but I would not recommend that!

I sell industrial chemicals for a living. Hydrochloric/Muratic Acid will definately take the chrome off. Its what chrome shops use to clean the metal before re-dipping it. The only problem with this is you'll probably need to have some sort of caustic or alkaline rinse.
