hi all, I'd like to explore upgrading the sound system in my mk6 R which has an RNS 510 but no dynaudio. I've looked for a while for a dynaudio kit to retro fit but as I understand this isn't particularly straight forward but the dynaudio is very few and far between. What have other people done or what would you peeps recommend?

Hi,I replaced my front speakers with a set from Focal which were a direct fit and sound fantastic but are powered by a Alpine double din head unit.I have a Dynaudio amp and complete front set of speaker's if you are thinking of going down that route.

I had focals in my last car and they were awesome. In my 6R i have alpine fronts which are very nice. I also have an alpine amp under the front pax seat which seems to do the job, and then a JL audio micro sub in the boot which is just unbelievably good and vvvv highly recommended.

I have a mk6 R. I find the stereo setup really good! I have some very nice RE 6.5" comps and havent even bothered fitting! Anyone dynamatted anything on the R?

thanks for the info guys, I quite like the sub under seat idea so will definitely look into that. With the focal speakers does anyone know what size the speakers are already in there so I can order some replacements? I might want to do all of them so if anyone knows this that'd be super!
