
The blower motor works in conjunction with the resistor pack to move air through the HVAC system
The motor will not run at top speed if the resistor pack is going bad. If the blower motor starts making noise when you turn the fan on there is a very good chance it is starting to go bad and will need to be replaced.

Figure 1 With the glove box removed you can see the blower motor (red arrow). Some cars may have insulation between the glove box and blower motor; ours did not. If yours has insulation just tuck it up under the dash out of the way.
