Get a set of hinge pins and bushings. There is a tool that you can get at harbor freight or tool king for removing the bushings. I use a floor jack and a 4x4 block of wood to support the door. you will need a spring compressor to remove the door "hold" spring. Once you have that removed, you can use a brass drift or similar rod to tap the pins out.

a vw wreckers or dealer will sell you the correct hinge bolts with the year model on you

You will need to remove the door panel to gain access to the handle. Roll the window up or down as needed to get to the nuts that attach the handle to the door. You will also need to remove a rod the goes to the door lock. You will see the rod after the door panel is removed. Good luck.
