I never thought it'd be so EASY. I just built my first set and it was a breeze. As long as you stick to regular heads (no callaway bore thrus), steel shafts, and normal grips, I don't see why you wouldn't do it yourself. It's VERY easy!

Yes, you can do it yourself. It's not a difficult process if you are careful. The advice of the first poster (jimb) was very good. I would use caution as far as the swing characteristics of reshafting.

Do you live near a Golfsm*th store? If so on Saturdays they give free iron building course. It takes three hours, and will let you know everything you need to get started. They are really informative (depending on who your instructor is), I know, I used to teach one.
