I am still fighting a sway and was curious how you stay centered in the backswing? If I just do it. It helps.

joeunc

i would have thought the tilt would have helped as that kind of presets upper body back/lower body forward.. Maybe try and start the backswing from a good setup by thinking of turning your right shoulder back and away from the ball along with the right hip Then feel the pressure on the instep of the right foot.

Rosco1216

Quite simple...turn away from from ball on your takeaway, not shift/sway back on your takeaway. Really not being sarcastic either so not wanting to sound like a smart@ $$ but really it helps to think of it as simple as that.

I've seen a few of your posts with similar issues. Seems like you are having trouble getting yourself centered and connected. Could be because when you do, you don't know how to get down and through impact from a better backswing position. This is often the reason people don't stick with something.
