Also, they tend to make the valuables pocket waterproof to keep your phone and wallet nice and dry as you play.

I worked for a number of years repairing hockey equipment for an AHL team as well as my own gear years ago and while I no longer play hockey I’ve done quite a few golf bag repairs. It’s not too hard to do.

I zoomed in on your pic to get a closer look. So, it looks like what failed was the nylon, yes? If that is the case and the original stitch holes in the nylon have torn out then the video I linked for you isn’t exactly how you would go about repairing it but it can still be fixed for at least one more season of use.

There should be lots of embroidery companies around. If the pocket does not zip off, you are really limited to what can be done. You would have to take them the bag and see if they have the machines to do what you want on the panel when it is open. Depending on who they are and the machine, they may or may not want to do it.

My first staff bag I got I thought I could have a local embroidery company later do my name on the zip off sleeve. The companies here would not do it for me. My last 2 Callaway bags I ordered through our course Pro shop I requested my name and US flag embroidered and Callaway did this.

It will be tough if you can't take off the part of the bag that needs to be embroidered. I have a company that is great but you can unzip the staff bag bellies.

MattyO1984

Unless you are a Pro, don't worry about it and just play on without your name on the bag. You need to be a heck of a player to pull that look off.
