If you didn't want to load your right arm up to get rid of this hit impulse, the last thing you'd want to do is snatch the club back with your right wrist and pick your right arm up, because all I've told my body is this shoulder girdle is really tight, my arm's really tight, my wrist from muscle is really tight, so let's use them to fire the downswing.

How can i Improve my accuracy on the golf course?

Try this: Place an alignment stick diagonally in the ground just outside your target line and approximately five feet in front of the ball. (You can slide a swim noodle over the stick like I have for extra safety, but it’s not critical for the drill.) Start making slow-motion practice swings.

The best way I've found to cure hip sway is to watch yourself in a mirror. Put a piece of masking tape in a straight line or use the edge of the mirror and start with your trail hip right at the edge. Groove a turn that does not move away from the ball.

In looking at your actual swing, you're over-swinging. While counter-intuitive, golf at times can be a game of "less is more". As you over swing on your backswing you make it much more difficult to sync up your lower half of your body.

When I took up the game at 40 I too had hit impulse, still, do. I am not a swinger but a hitter. I see the ball and see where I want the ball to go and hit it there. I share that because in some cases it's best to work with what you have as opposed to chasing what others have or want for you.

When used to (hit) the ball i could sometimes play some good rounds, but all to frequently id have a bad round straight after and visa versa. This is due to the hand eye coordination changing due to alot of factors (how u are feeling/conditions on that day/etc) and too many more to list.

How to get better at swinging with your right wrist?

Let your right wrist go from extended to flexed (like when you shoot a basketball) so the clubhead releases up and around without that excessive wrist roll. This is important, because it means the clubface isn’t closing or moving in a different direction to your swing path. Instead, it’s releasing up and around—and staying square to the path! Groove these moves and your accuracy will skyrocket. Better yet, you won’t sacrifice any distance.

What causes the hit instinct in almost every amateur golfer on the planet?

What causes the hit instinct in almost every amateur golfer on the planet is too much tension in their dominant or trailing arm, and this is in most cases the right arm, for right-handed golfers. Most golfers being right hand dominant, they go to the top, and the first thing they want to do is fire with this right arm. It's in a position where it's loaded, it's got leverage, 'cause you've elevated your arm at your shoulder, you've bent your arm at your elbow, and you've got angle in your wrist.

What happens in the first part of the golf downswing?

Do you shift your weight in golf swing?

You don't shift your weight, you don't give your arms the chance to fall from the top of the swing. Which is, again, a critical part of sequencing things, is that if I want my arms to shallow out ... and of course, we all want our proper swing plane coming down, right? Instead of this motion where it's very right side dominant, and you're taking your right arm and pitching the attitude of the shaft this way to come over the top.

Do you need to load your lower body first in the backswing?

If we want to unload our lower body correctly, you've all heard that a million times, right, your golf swing starts from the ground up, well then you need to load those muscles that you want to fire first in the downswing, you need to load them first in the backswing. Seems common-sensacle, right?
