Hi, I put up another message today about Hogan and visualizing your swing to match his rhythm and timing. This video is definitely a hit and rip way to go after the ball, but it all comes down to the rhythm of your swing. You can swing as hard as you want into the ball if your rhythm is right, not really a need to let up, especially on your driver if your body is moving as one. https://www.youtube....h?v=_AmPuzgBXEM Long shots from the fairway may need a little less "swing as hard as you can" put on it. To be honest, I'm definitely into watching swings and trying to duplicate the rhythm of some of the great players. For cutting down on trying to hit the ball as hard as you can, I would really suggest you watch Freddie Couples swing as much as you can.

I pour it all into the driver if I want extra distance and then kill the ball along the way. Just need to buy a lot of balls if I do that a lot though. Modern swing makes you go off the integrity if you do that though. then technique form will drop.

for one season I would play with my shoes untied... not only did it have a negative effect on weak minded opponents ... dude, your shoes are untied... you gonna tie those shoes... man, how can you swing with your shoes untied... but it helped me control my swing to where if I swung hard I would literally swing out of my shoes.
