I'm no expert on this sort of thing but why can't you either use a 12V heater or put an inverter on it so you can use a 120v heater?

Ok guys, I feel like technology has come along just enough to stop using that clunky propane heater for my golf cart. I’m thinking about putting a portable power station in the front open area of the cart and plugging in two Lasko space heaters and attaching them to the front corners of the cart inside my cover.

The batteries for the one I linked are ~400 watt hours each, so they'd power two of the heaters for about an hour. It looks like it comes with 2 batteries included.
