According to Ecco shoes sizing chart, 26.3 is closer to 26.5. So, if you’ve standard width or narrow feet, you should first try US 7/7.5 size, which is corresponding to 26.3. If you buy the original US size, which you usually wear in your other shoes, the chances are that Ecco shoes will run big for you. Ecco Golf Shoes Sizing

Normally I wear US 9, so the European 42 is precisely one size down from what is recommended on the sizing chart. Adidas run very small, particularly in the toe box. If your pop wears a size 12 in the Adidas, I'd definitely go with the size 45 in the Ecco. That's the same size as I wear, FWIW. My big toes are prone to ingrown nails (OUCH OUCH OUCH) and I can't wear Adidas any more, not enough room in the toe box to keep that nail under control.

Based on the prior posts I may add to your confusion. My baseline is Footjoy Classics which for me is an 11.5 D.

Wow this is confusing - But seeing the general trend on how everyone goes a size down, I guess I will go with the 45 for my Dad and hopefully that will fit.

I'm a US 10.5, went to the Edwin Watts last week, and tried a new model of the Ecco -- size 44 was just right. In some of the prior models over the last 2-3 years, Ecco must have changed its last, because a 44 was too big, and a 43 was too small.

Man - This gets confusing by the minute - so many conflicting experience on the sizes! My dad used to wear 11 to 11 1/2 in a variety of shoes from FJ to Nike to Etonic but when he got hooked on to Adidas, he had to move to a 12Medium as 11 or 11 1/2 was just too tight. I think this can be attributed to Adidas running a size smaller.

Thanks Guys for all your inputs. I am going to stick with 43 for me and 45 for him for now. If it needs to be returned ans switched, I will have to make the painful effort later on.
