We get strong winds here in KS all the time, but sometimes it just doesn't make sense to play in them. Saturday there were gusts to around 50 and limbs were coming off trees. At that point, it's not just inconvenient to play but dangerous as well.

Playing college golf in Myrtle Beach, usually the fastest greens we played back then was at Wild Wing and when the wind was blowing, you could keep the ball from rolling on the green but just barely. And the stimp had to be ridiculous.
