Okay, so just wonering if anyone else had experienced structural weakness to this extent!? Admittedly the shot was quite near the toe, but even so… that's crazy. Waiting on a response from Cobra UK - hopefully they'll sort it.

justasgood

So you hit one high out on the toe..........Then ran it over with the cart? Not sure Cobra will cover that......

Valtiel

Wow, thats something. I'm curious about all those scuff marks/scratches on the front of the crown above the toe, most visible in the third pic on the right. How did all those abrasions get there?

Socrates

Just looking at the pictures (esp. the 3rd one) and you could have a Father, a Judge and Boris Johnson say the damage was legit and I would have a hard time believing them. But, the only thing that matters is what Cobra will say.

MtlJeff

I've owned an F9 for 7-8 months and no issues yet. However I'll let you know what happens when/if i miss the sweet spot

hack2489

If Cobra replaces that driver then I'm going to get myself a Cobra driver next time.

What does CT mean in golf?

CT stands for Characteristic Time, a measurement of how fast the ball comes off the face of a club. The springier the club face is, the farther the golf ball can fly and all OEMs basically have the same CT so it is as close to the limit as possible.

Does the F9 hit the ball higher?

What that means is the F9 will hit the ball higher and is very forgiving when mishit. Overall the F9 has great aerodynamics (low drag) and excellent mass properties (low CG and high MOI) something that has not been accomplished before the Cobra F9.

Is the F9 a special driver?

By now it is pretty obvious the F9 is a very special driver so it makes sense it comes with special colors. To my eye they are just beautiful at address with a glossy black crown and a subtle Cobra logo alignment aid but underneath is a very fast race car yellow and easily visible when someone else is swinging one.
