Does anybody know, or have a good ballpark on how much golf clubs are "at cost"? Meaning if they are $900 on the shelf, what where they straight from the OEM? I am asking because I have a hook-up at Hot Stix fitting and they say if I get fitted, then they will get me clubs "at cost." So I want to see if this is worth the deal. Thanks.
tbowles411
It's hard to say. But I can tell you is that the margin on clubs isn't what most people think. You may get $100 off...maybe a little more. I hope you get more. Good luck!

Depends on the OEM.. you probably wont find many people interested in violating the terms of thier contracts with these OEMS by disclosing the "wholesale/cost" of the products they sell for MSRP/MAP pricing. BUT I would expect something in the range of 15%-25% off retail...... I would consider anything else a bonus...
setter02
Agreed with above, anyone who would post a "cost" price is looking to lose business. Margins also vary depending on the OEM and product. But to think that the "deal" is like 60% is nuts.
chpar453
My son used to work at a retailer and they would get what was called a PUD from certain manufactures once a year that was 50% below the manufactures cost. I got a set of new I5's when they came out for $211.00 which would put they retailers cost at about $400/$450 whe they were selling for I think $599 New FWIW
