in my 1.8t mk 4 what 0-60 and 1/4 mile times can i expect.. and im totaly standard by the way.. only my mate with a vauxhall vectra has got a g mac timer and he wants to put in my car tonight and i said yes. oh and he can do it in 16.4 i think thats what he said. but he aint standard.

i dont know how accurate some people are saying vw times there cars with a full load etc, if they are wrong then you'd be lucky to get that, on official timing gear 200hp cars with factory 6.2 figures only getting high 7's....

is it a 150 or 180 golf, if it's a 180 then times should be 7.7 and 16 dead on apparently.

dont worry about that. as long as it looks good who cares. i could have modded my engine. but i chose to get the looks first. firstly 18 inch gladiator chrome rims then a 40-50 mm drop. and that came to 1150 about the price of the mods i want. but looks come first.

Its best not to skimp on parts quality or mechanic skill set. Also generally speaking VW dealers are not well regarded for their TB skill sets. Its best to replace before they blowup.

Did TB cause valves to break off?
