With the G410, fitters can place the weight in the heel to give that guy the correction he needs while still keeping spin at manageable levels. Some additional tuning at the hosel and PING can fit that guy better than it could previously.

Visit your local pro. Have him guide you on swing changes to hit the ball properly. Thank me later.

Buy a Ping K15 off the bay and spend the rest on lessons. You can fix the slice. It's not the clubs fault, the ball only does what you tell it to do and you are leaving the face open. Have a pro work with you and you will hit the farthest drives of your life with old tech simply because you are squaring it up and increasing the smash factor.

According to Ping, the SFT has a 20 more yard draw bias vs. the Plus. From what you are looking for, maybe go with the Plus fit with the right settings/shaft will help you OP?!

MattM97

The Plus is good enough plus with lessons you can take it out of draw setting. I have at times an awful slice, the Plus or even the SFT can't fix my bad driver swing when it's off, but when it's on I'm glad I don't have the SFT.

This, and if you need to tweak the draw setting if you need it, you can buy lower weights aftermarket. The weight in mine is 13g and I had to go down to 8g to finish straightening me out.

What is G410 Plus?

In the simplest of terms, the design goal was a product to serve a wider range of golfers from tour pro to the high handicap golfer. The driving force behind G410 Plus was the realization that 2/3 of custom orders placed through PING WRX – including most orders from the Tour – included custom hot melt in either the heel or toe. The obvious solution for PING was to build left/right adjustability into the driver. I mean, it’s not like most everyone else has dabbled in similar adjustability at one time or another, right?

Why is Ping so backwards?

50 Words or Less

The PING G410 Plus driver is the company’s first foray into adjustable-weight drivers. All the forgiveness and performance of the G400 with more adjustability and better sound.

Introduction

When I think of PING, one of the first things that comes to mind is custom fitting. That commitment to getting every player into the perfect club is evident in the new G410 Plus driver. Not only does it feature a moveable weight to customize ball flight, it also has an upgraded hosel adjustment system.

Looks

Anyone who has seen the last two generations of PING drivers knows what to expect from the G410 Plus. The crown is matte black and the leading edge has PING’s Turbulators . What is different is that the Dragonfly Technology is no longer visible on the back of the head. Instead you’ll see two ridges that run from the back of the head to the middle.

Sound & Feel

I remember hitting the G400 for the first time and remarking to the fitter that the sound was a massive upgrade over the previous generation. PING improved upon that even further by making the G410 Plus quieter and more solid feeling.

Performance

The PING G410 Plus driver had, far and away, the best out-of-the-box performance of any driver I’ve tested this year . There are certainly some confounding variables at work – I’m extremely comfortable with PING drivers and the Tensei Orange shaft is one I’ve had success with – but the fact remains that this club was crushing it from the word go.

Conclusion

PING has taken my favorite driver, the G400 Max, and added new adjustability without sacrificing forgiveness. I don’t know how they did it, and, frankly, I don’t care. All I want is for the snow to melt so I can find the perfect shaft for the G410 Plus and get it on the course.
