Just a quick question to the forum about insurance for golf clubs etc. Does anyone know the best insurance companies to deal with for an all encompassing policy for golf clubs/equipment? a policy that covers breakage, travel, stealing etc.

lumpuckeroo

My policy with State Farm is a stand alone, called a "Personal Articles Policy", and it includes my clubs (listed individually with replacement value for each club I own, not just the 14 in the bag), all my firearms (40+ pieces), and jewelry. Cost is $153 a year, and I have no deductible.

All my toys, other than my vehicles are covered under my home owner's policy.

dennyjones

I believe they were covered under my previous policy. I haven't heard back from my new company yet.

cooke119

I too have State Farm and a rider for personal articles that cover jewerly, guns, golf clubs, laptop compters, things that can easily be transported with you. My brother did not have this when his clubs were stolen, but his home owners insurance covered them less his $500 deductible.
