Who is the general manager of Loews Miami Beach?
Loews Miami Beach Hotel has named Alex Tonarelli as the hotel’s new General Manager. He has been part of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel team since December 2000, most recently serving as the property’s hotel manager. Tonarelli’s new responsibilities include directing all hotel operations, sales and marketing efforts, human resources and revenue management. As hotel manager he oversaw all aspects of rooms, food & beverage, retail, engineering and partner relations, leading the team through a $50 million dollar renovation which included all guestrooms, various F&B and retail outlets, public spaces and the state-of-the-art poolside cabanas debuting this June. Additionally Tonarelli was the mastermind behind Loews Miami Beach Hotel’s first annual celebrity golf tournament, which raised more than $75,000 for donorschoose.org in its first year.
