Qualification Requirements: Applicants for this scholarship must attend Cardinal Newman High School and are children or grandchildren (daughters or sons) of alumnae who graduated from Ursuline High School , Santa Rosa, California.

What is the Cardinal Newman Alumni Association?

The Cardinal Newman Alumni Association is made up of alumni from both Cardinal Newman and Ursuline High Schools who wish to give back to their alma mater. Members of the Alumni Association attend and volunteer at many school-related social events including Cardinal Newman's Homecoming, Fun in the Fall Wine Tasting & Polenta Feed, Ursuline Crab Feed, Spring Legacy Gala, and the Alumni Golf Tournament.

Where is John Jordan now?

Mary's College in Moraga. He graduated from St. Mary's with Honors in Finance and Economics. John is now a Financial Consultant and Financial Planning Specialist at Smith Barney in Santa Rosa.

Is Cardinal Newman's tailgate cancelled?

Due to current public health directives in Sonoma County, all Cardinal Newman events, including the Fun in the Fall & Homecoming Tailgate , are currently canceled or have been postponed to a later date.

Crusader Greats

This category includes those athletes and cheerleaders who have brought positive recognition and prominence to St. Ann’s High School and/or Cardinal Newman High School while participating in Crusader athletic events. Eight (8) Crusader Greats will be inducted each year.

Distinguished Letter-winners

This category includes those letter-winners who have made major contributions to St. Ann’s High School and/or Cardinal Newman High School athletic programs through the investment of personal time, interest or effort or have distinguished themselves as exceptional in their chosen professional fields or endeavors.

Honorary Letter-winners

This category includes any non letter-winner who has rendered outstanding service to St. Ann’s High School and/or Cardinal Newman High School athletic programs through the investment of personal, time, interest or effort. One Honorary Letter-winner will be inducted each year.
