Most stand bags have a stand retainer of some sort so the bag can be used on a riding cart. If yours doesn't have one, perhaps a proper sized bungee cord can be used to strap the legs in the closed position. (there is always a way to take the legs off, might never get them back on again though)

I think he's saying the the 'foot' sticks out so the bag won't fit straight in the bag well... used to be a problems w old sun mtns. sure, you could prob remove it, but hard to say for sure w/o knowing the model specifics etc. I was able to remove it from a very old sm model a few years ago
