Thurnis is a 53-year-old who loves and does exactly nothing, but play golf, he eats golf , sleeps golf , wife gets mad at him all he does is golf , even she knows it, and he washes his golf balls and golf clubs at a laundromat. In each sketch, Thurnis will be at a golf course or golf store.

He is Tyler's most famous character, as Tyler replaces his last name with "Haley" in the end credits, as well as the fans of Odd Future.
