Rolled up in the Far Hills countryside, the USGA Museum is home to the world's premier collection of golf artifacts and memorabilia. The USGA, the governing body for the game in the United States and Mexico, has since 1972 made its home on a magnificent property that was for many years one of the premier estates of Somerset County.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) Museum, located in Far Hills, is the country's foremost center for the study and celebration of golf history. Founded in April 1936, the museum is home to more than 70,000 artifacts documenting the game's greatest moments and champions.

If you like Golf, great place, good people

The USGA does good work, and the staff is mostly good folks. Advancement can be slow, and HR department is very weak. Varies some on department, but Foundation, Research Lab and Marketing teams are growing.

Excellent place to work

I really enjoyed this job. I wish I could have stayed longer. Our family moved so I had to resign. It was one of my favorite jobs due to the fact that I did a lot of visual merchandising at the US Open, and I managed all of the volunteers at the tent as well as came face to face with corproate clients.

Great working enviornment but poor management

Great working environment depending on the department that you're in. Management doesn't seek the best interest of the company or their employees in certain aspects. The lack of cultural change will impede on the growth of the organization. No such thing as job security, regardless of your impact within the organization.

Great place and people

This is a great organization with great people to work with. The people are easy to get along with and the work culture is enjoyable. Everyone loves what they do and their is room to grow.

Good with Bad

It can be a very rewarding place to work, but the culture is not great. Internal candidates are not always rewarded for their hard work and upper management can't stop meddling.

A cool and fun place to work

If you love golf, the USGA is a great place to work. You get the opportunity work at many different Amateur and Professional Championships across the country.

It was great being part of the golf industry

This job kept me busy all day every day. First thing in the morning making sure the nightly production jobs ran okay. Programming for new request from the field. First major undertaking was the upgrade to y2k. Later on we upgraded the system to DB2. This was a very difficult project. Overall is was a great working environment.
