How much does a 2.5" cat back cost?
Need VCDS for the LED tails and GTI paddles. Borla makes a 2.5" cat-back for around $300. I've got two of them in the garage for both my brother's cars.
Is it worth replacing the front sway bar on a golf course?
It's definitely not worth the hassle if you only visit the track for a lap or two once or twice a year.
Does sway reduce understeer?
Stiffer rear sway will generally reduce understeer. This is great for a FWD vehicle as they just by their design tend to plow in corners. You won't notice unless you're pushing hard. If you don't plan to track or are generally satisfied with the way your vehicle turns into a corner, I'd say it wouldn't be worth the upgrade.
Can I swap out dampers on a OE suspension?
Once I actually get around to ripping the OE suspension out, the dampers will be swapped out as well.
Is the stock suspension good?
The stock suspension setup is perfectly fine and comfortable for daily commuting but lacks a lot when pushed.
Can you use hand tools on a ramp?
It IS a mod that you can do with hand tools in your driveway on ramps.
