Bag Tags are a way to make a round of disc golf more competitive. You can purchase them at different clubs and they are distributed in order of purchase. Each tag is numbered and you can often only use a tag that has been designated for that year, which means you can only play for the current year’s bag tags.

How many discs should I have in my bag?

What is the number 1 tag?
First response gets tag 1, 2nd response tag 2 etc. The number 1 tag is the most coveted tag. Tags are to be displayed on your bag, so everyone can see them. Anyone can challenge you during casual or league play.
Can you challenge tag 50?
This way tag 50 can't always challenge tag #1 and not meet others. It's a limit of 5 unless both parties agree. So tag 50 can play tag 20 for their tag if both agree to the terms of the round but he can also say no to the higher tag. Only people within five of your tag number have to accept the challenge.
How long can you play a challenge without forfeiting your tag?
The maximum amount of time someone could be physically unable to play without forfeiting their tag would be 30 days.

How big is a bag tag?
If you do the artwork yourself, please make the bag tag 2 1/8" x 3 3/8". Please do not add bleed to your image. The image needs to be the exact size. Please leave room 1/2" from the top-center of the image for the hole punch.
Can you print a disc on the back of a bag tag?
We can print on the back for an additional $1 per bag tag. It can either be the same as the front or a different image entirely. We can also print a Dynamic Discs logo on the back for free!

What happens if you tie in a bag tag?
Players that tie during a Bag Tag round or Personal Challenge will have a one hole playoff on Hole number one at their current location, closest to the pin wins the tie… OR if ALL parties involved in the tie agree, any hole can be chosen, closest to the pin determines the winner. If multiple players are involved, the closest distance to the pin wins the lowest tag number involved, second closest gets the next higher tag and so on…
Is a bag tag tournament a singles tournament?
At all singles tournaments, tags will be surrendered to any Club Staff member and will be returned by score order after the tournament. Basically, any singles tournament is automatically a Bag Tag tournament for ALL club members in attendance.

Our monochrome sets are printed on colored tags with single color printing. They can be ordered in any quantity of 10 or more. All tags are double -sided and can be sequentially numbered or customized with club or tournament name on the other in a standard design. Pricing includes customization to add your tournament or club name to the back of the tags. Please include your club or tournament name when ordering.
