Hi all, now this may have been asked before but should the exhaust flaps be open in race on tick over or only at certain revs?? Tia

Simon-R

Yes in race mode, open all the time and you can very clearly hear the difference on idle.

Booth11

Race gives all 4 flaps, DSG gearstick in S does too, and also selecting Sport as the 'Drive' setting in Individual mode (DSG and manual cars).

Frantastic

I've been booting it round thinking it sounded shite and even a lad in work said it sounded poor when I left him for dead.Oh well another thing to remember to do after start up after turning off stop start ha ha ha

DUB R4XX

Lol. Or go the VCDS route for disabling Stop/Start and having all 4 flaps active all the time.

Booth11

Just changed the start/stop with vcds today and it does stop it from kicking in without pressing the button every time, I never use it ever anyway.

Booth11

I would say you are better off with VCDS just because it's a simple usb that connects to any Windows laptop and you are good to go and also you could get most of the outlay back if you decided to sell it on.
