I would say that the lamkin performance plus would be your best option. A lot of tinkerers put lead tape underneath the grip to add counterbalance. Is there a certain swingweight you are trying to reach? Each 5 grams you add to the grip decreases swingweight by 1 point.

I like a heavier feeling myself, so I have not tried the lead tape under the grip, but I would have the same concern as you. If I was to make my clubs lighter, I would pick out a grip I like and then add a counterbalance weight in the butt of the shaft to equal that 78g grip that you like.
