I've been using NXT's for years and now that they are discontinued I'm confused to what ball is the closest comparison. Reading reviews about the Tour Soft, seems to me that it's a completely different golf ball than the NXT. Has anyone decided on what golf ball they would replace the NXT with?

Try Q Star Tour. Will be softer than the NXT Tour but urethane and good greenside spin.

Not sure if they are the closest comparison to NXT Tour, but Chrome Soft and Srixon Z Star are in the bag right now. Z Star may actually be a little better around the green, but both get the job done at a decent price. Probably would buy whichever is on sale.

I was one of the reviewers chosen for the TourSoft reviews in the "Pre-Release" forum. I found them very similar to the NXT, but softer. Lousy deal for your money, if you ask me, but they're the closest equivalent in the Titleist lineup to the NXT, if you're keen to stay in the family.
