When do you enroll in University of Virginia classes?
University of Virginia College of Arts & Sciences undergraduate students select courses for the upcoming semester during the pre-enrollment period (typically November for spring classes and April for fall classes ). The following steps are a guide to best practices when building a course schedule.
What happens if you are on hold at UVA?
As applicable, your University of Virginia ID card will be deactivated, and UVA Housing, UVA Dining, Cavalier Advantage and all other student privileges will be unavailable.
How to view all classes in a department?
a. To view all classes in a department, use DEPARTMENT and one other search field. Undergraduate, MAIN campus or credits (0 and 6) are good additional search criteria.
How to find your faculty advisor?
Schedule an appointment with your faculty advisor to review your course selections and your academic progress. Contact your advisor directly if he/she has not created an electronic calendar. You can find the name of your advisor (s) on your Student Center in SIS.

The McArthur Squash Center is home to UVA's varsity squash team and is available to students and members with an additional cost. This impressive, 33,000 sq ft venue features a championship court as well as multiple singles and doubles squash courts. For reservations, please contact the Boar's Head.

What is an open team?
Open - Teams may consist of students, faculty, staff and spouses. Teams may have any number of male and/or female participants.
Is intramural sports voluntary?
Participation in the Intramural Sports Program is completely voluntary . Individuals participate at their own risk and absolve the University of Virginia of responsibility for any injuries incurred during the activity. All individuals should be in good physical condition. Participants are encouraged to provide their own health insurance and to receive a health examination yearly.
