Purchasing a new set of Callaway X-20's and wanted to know which configuration makes more sense? I plan on also purchasing a Driver and 5W but would have nothing between 5W and 4I.

wengerlaw

custom order your set and take away the 3 iron... save you some cash. then pick up a hybrid, which loft depends on what you realistically seeing yourself needing... ie what you are comfortable hitting, whether your intention is to take the club off the tee or off the deck.

putterboy

I also got a hybrid to replace the 3 iron. For most the hybrid is a lot easier to hit than the long irons.....suggest you test out the hybrid and a 3 iron and see which feels more natural or comfortable and go with that

norcalgolf

Definitely try the SW from the set and see if it is one you want to use, if not then if you don't want a 3 iron, just order 4-PW or 5-PW.

23Rounder

I had a hybrid for 6 months before giving it to my wife. Could not stop hooking it and now have a 3 iron back in the bag and can hit it low, long and straight almost every time.
