Uniflex technology is there for the average or below average golfer. Most of us don't know our own swing speeds, and to tell the truth, 80% of us should be using a flex lower than what we say we should. I see way to many guys saying they need a stiff shaft when regular would really improve their game.

The Uniflex shaft is a firm shaft - just a little stiffer than an R, but not much. Why do they do this? Because their target market for club sales is the 95% of all golfers who will never break 100, who will play 3-4 times a year for 10 years with these clubs, then give them to their kids and "upgrade" to whatever is new at the time. The Uniflex shaft works just fine for virtually all of these players... -t.

Even within Callaway they are different. I just got some X-20s with the Nippon NS Pro 990gh Uniflex Shaft which is different than their standard True Temper Uniflex. They also offer and Nippon NS Pro 1150gh Uniflex. They all play a little different so it just depends on what you want.
