First is, from one up, the course play only like 6200 yards or so. So I would go 5 iron, 7 or 8 iron, PW, and putter.

OP Like your thinking and since you said you are not a consistent driver of the ball I would go with the clubs you picked. Personally I drive the ball pretty straight so would go with driver, 7i or 8i, sw, putter.

4 clubs?! That's too easy. The real challenge is 3 clubs. Then you never know wether to bring your putter or not.

no putter. I can still belly a wedge. I know I won't make any putt of distance, but in this format, most people won't be making many birdies to start, so I would rather have the exta wedge to get round the green
