Synopsis
Callaway Hex Control balls are three-pieces. This means they are made with three layers including their core. They are suited for mid to low handicappers.

Core
The core of the Hex Control is hard. A hard core ball tends to roll out a lot when smashed with the driver.
Trionomor Cover
Callaway added a soft trionomer cover that helps add more wedge spin, making shots from around 120 yards and in controllable. This also includes greenside chips and allows a golfer to be confident in their short game.
Dimples
The Hex Control has 332 total dimples on the ball. The more dimples on a golf ball, the more spin it will have. Dimples also help the ball have a smooth ball flight because it forces the air to go over a larger area of the ball.

The Callaway Hex Control is a ball made by Callaway exclusively for Costco.

I agree that hex controls are great for the money. I guess the only other three piece ball that compares in price would by rocketballz urethane. Staying in Callaway, the super soft is a two piece, and the x2 line might be even mor similar.

Thanks for your responses so far. I have read through the links... my God doesn't it get confusing.

Thanks for your response. So if I understand correctly: Hex Hot Pro >> Hex Control >> HX Hot Pro >> HX Diablo Tour >> HX Hot Pro It's so frustrating as I would buy many more Hex Control balls if a Costco was by. Not knowing other balls with the exact spec is preventing from me giving Callaway custom.
