If I'm still experiencing DOMS by the time the weekend rolls around it usually has a small affect on my game. I've also had time where I just was flat out tired by the time we'd walked on a really hot, humid day. When it happens I struggle to maintain my posture during the swing, something I'd normally never even have to think about.

i am pretty good about food/hydration since i am used to it from being a cyclist. i generally drink 3 bottles of water during a round unless it is really hot. i also eat a healthy breakfast (granola/bananas) before a round and take in 2 clif bars during.

I have realized there are certain exercises I can't or shouldn't do the day before I golf. Shoulders and squats. If I do any of those exercises the day before it is pure misery at the golf course. If I do lite arm workout the day before and just arms I play pretty well.
