I've tried a number of DTC (direct-to-consumer) balls - Oncore, Snell, Vice, Cut, etc. and in my opinion, the best performing ball is the Snell MTB Black. From tee to green, it just checks all the boxes. What's your experience and favorite?

I have to try Snell again but I remember them being very good, I just don't play them cause they haven't been in stock in Canada for months, they come in and gone in days. But a lot of other DTC like Vice and OnCore are solid options, Kirkland for the price is solid as well.

The mtb-x is just a great ball. That being said, the vice pro doesn't get the love it deserves.

Snell. I switch between the MTB-X and Chrome Soft X LS. If I remember correctly, Dean used to work for TM and Titleist at one point in R&D.

Average golfer and I never buy balls in-store. I've cycled through a few online DTC brands. Curious what the opinion of the community is. Aside from the big companies out there, I've tried: Vice, Oncore, and Snell. Heard of, but haven't tried: Cut, Quantrix, Sugar, Penfold, or Seed.

Snell MTB-X for me. Very long off the tee with enough spin around the greens. Don't care much for feel but it's not as soft as the AVX which I put in play as well. It really depends on course conditions which ball I play. 115-118 mph ss and 175 ball speed here.
