So last weekend I payed for 2 players for 18 holes with a cart, came out to be about $57. We played 9 and made the turn, got about 1 hole in and were poured on.

A couple days ago I was playing a resort course in Mytle Beach and I payed for 18 for my son and I. Basically the round went like this, We tee off and played one hole and they blow the horn for lightning. We go back to the clubhouse and wait for over an hour and they clear it for everyone to go back out.

What doesn't sound normal to me is this raincheck idea. Around here (pacific northwest) we play golf in the rain. Unless there is lightning the course is open.

At my course if you finish 9 you don't get a rain check.#N#Anything less than 9 you get a rain check for all 18 but they sure as hell make you wait it out!!
