
When did Green Gables start?
Green Gables got its start in the 1920s when a group of eight Denver political and business leaders known as the Progress Club purchased 120 acres of countryside outside of Denver. They joined with leaders of the local Jewish community to form an exclusive club that would offer a place to socialize and play golf.
