What happened to the golf at Primm Valley?
We traveled to Las Vegas for a week of golf and driving in from L.A, we usually stop at the Primm Valley courses to play our first round. Since MGM had purchased the resort, we have noticed a slow deterioration of service and course quality. This was our worse outing ever and the last straw for us.
How hard is the Lakes Course at Primm Valley?
Remember, these courses are designed by world reknown gold course designer, Tom Fazio. I have never played (hope to some day) Shadow Creek in Las Vegas ( $500/round) but from what I can tell the Lakes Course at Primm Valley is on the same concept with it's water, pine trees and many sand traps. The Lakes Course is challenging but very fair.
Is Primm a good place to play golf in Vegas?
We used to recommend Primm to all of our friends and associates who would travel to Vegas to golf. It's an easy stop on the way into town and you should play there before coming in to the bright lights of the city. We won't recommend playing here again. Why do people come to Primm to play golf?
We have been coming to Primm to play golf since they opened. We have played the lakes course while they were constructing the desert course. It has always been a first class organization when it came to the quality of the golf course and the customer service they provided. It has gone down hill long enough now that we will never come back to play.
