I agree they are frequently running promotions - but how is it sneaky to sell a good product as a lesser price than your competitors? That’s capitalism/economics, not sneaky IMO.

Srixon undeniably makes a good ball but when aren’t they running a promo of some kind? Great for the consumer however to me this is sneaky way to gain marketshare.

Not sure if there's anything sneaky about it... anyone who isn't Titleist seems to be doing whatever they can to gain marketshare and Srixon is focusing on pricing. And they're getting me, I can't pass up a deal like this. Four dozen incoming this week :)

The new q star tour is a very, very good ball. Just picked up another 4 dz for a awesome price.

Z Star is the identical compression as V1. The VX is between the V1 and V1x. If you’re in a warmer climate, perhaps the VX. It seems to have a slightly higher ball speed as well in most of the scenarios.
OhYeahPlayer
Interesting results as well in the original video review of Z Star and XV done by the same blacklisted site. Seems that results were sometimes better at 100MPH with the standard Z star - better driver carry/distance/ball speed/spin, and more wedge spin, but the XV went way further than both the Z and Pro V off the 7 iron.

At 100-105, you’re in a transition zone ball-wise, which is good since it gives you more choices. My experience with lower compression models generally is that if you’re on the top end of their speed range and you tend to be a picker/sweeper, they can tend to balloon.
