Well I play with some guys 50 and older that play just as good or better than some 30 year olds I play with so I think it is a relative term. Now I can clearly state that some of the 70-80 year old guys I have played with are seniors. I think 50 is a touch low. maybe 60 but I still think it comes down to how you golf your ball.

I really don't know for sure what the age is, Wags told me it was the same as the Champions guyz, which would be 50, but ProZach said something about 55 being the age for Sr Amateurs quali here in Illinois. As far as I'm concerned, I think there should be another division past the Seniors guyz. :)

I think for golf purposes, the 50-55 mark is about right BUT - and this is the gods honest truth, at my old club, there was a senior vs. junior tournament pitting the youngest 16 who signed up against the eldest 16 who signed up - the age cut off to be a jr was 69 - needless to say we had a mature membership
