Two west Michigan courses have reportedly filed for bankruptcy: Wallinwood Springs Golf Club of Jenison and Lake Doster Golf Club of Plainwell. Both are expected to reopen this spring while seeking new financing. Both of those courses have been on my list of places to play for a couple of years.

Lake Doster is a semi-private golf club. We offer single, husband-wife, or family memberships. Even being semi-private, we always welcome public golfers and make them feel like members. Some of the services we offer are a fully stocked golf shop, handicap services, lessons, range balls and a practice putting green and sand trap.
