I use the green masking tape and some very sticky hairspray. I let them dry overnight in front if a heater and they're ready in less than 8 hours. They blow off really easy, hold very well, and the grip can be blown off looking brand new inside.

Old thread, same question. Anyone know of any regular brand masking tapes that are .0075" thickness for build up purposes? To achieve 1/64th or .015" increase with one wrap. I've heard that the golf works stuff is different now and not as thick.
