Why are there no golf carts at Fort Collins golf courses?
All Courses: No Carts: Walking only until further notice. The high amount of rounds this season and dry, cool conditions are causing damage to the turf. Thank you for your patience as we limit cart usage to help preserve the grass for next season. The Youth Golf Scholarship Fund is a new initiative of the City of Fort Collins Golf Advisory Board.

How does golf tech work?
Your Coach analyzes your current swing by combining information from motion measurement, video capture and the launch monitor to identify the key areas in need of improvement. During this 60-minute Swing Evaluation, you and your Coach discuss where your game is now and where you'd like it to be.
What should I wear to GolfTEC?
Bring your full set of golf clubs. You can wear whatever's comfortable to swing in and we recommend golf shoes or tennis shoes.
How many golf lessons should a beginner take?
As a general rule beginners should take 3 to 5 golf lessons before playing on a course to help them learn the basics of the swing and rules. It is not compulsory to take lessons and only 15% of golfers seek professional instruction but they are generally viewed as one of the best ways to improve a player's game.
Can you practice at GOLFTEC?
Can I get just practice sessions? Practice sessions are available for purchase to active students and are included in our Game Plan options. The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement.
What is GOLFTEC swing evaluation?
With a Swing Evaluation or Club Fitting Your Swing Evaluation is a 60-minute introductory lesson. Your Coach measures your swing, records it on video and provides a clear explanation of what needs to improve. Armed with this information, your Coach recommends a lesson plan to meet your goals.

How much does a full bag fitting cost?
Full Bag & Full Bag with Putter Fitting In the Full Bag WITH Putter Fitting, the client and fitter work through every club in the bag, including the putter. The cost of a True Spec Full Bag Fitting is $350 and a Full Bag with Putter Fitting is $450.
Can you get irons fitted after buying them?

What are junior golf lessons?
Junior Golf Lessons are designed to introduce and promote the game of golf to Junior golfers of all abilities. Our goal is to provide a fun and enjoyable learning environment that will stimulate interest in the game. Juniors will learn the importance of rules and etiquette, as well as the basics of the golf swing and the game. Students will be grouped by age and specific skill level, allowing each student to learn at their own pace and develop the skills necessary to become an accomplished golfer. All areas of the game are taught, including putting, chipping, irons and woods.
