How did Malbon golf start?
Malbon first got the bug as a 12-year-old playing at Hell's Point, a municipal golf course in Virginia Beach, but then gave the game up in his mid-teens. “All of my friends were doing other stuff,” he explains. “Girls weren't dating golfers. My wife didn't want to date a golfer.

How long does it take to play Malbon golf?
Things move a bit quicker in virtual space; each round takes about 20 minutes for up to four golfers. “How do you teach younger people that you can look cool, and you can have fun?” asks Erica. “That it’s a good sport, and you can drink while you play?”
Is the Malbons still in the soft opening stage?
Happily, the Malbons’ goal already seems within reach. Though they are still in the soft opening stage, it’s already become a local hot spot; a recent long drive competition drew hundreds of the couple’s famous friends. Others have come through this month: Travis Scott (a regular golfer), ScHoolboy Q, Illegal Civ’s Mikey Alfred. Last week, actor Troy Garity (HBO’s Ballers) arrived, carefully leaned his phone against a shoe, and placed it behind the hole on the putting green. He sunk his first shot and received high fives from everyone in the store.
Can you fake golf?
Golf is like hockey or skateboarding, you can’t fake it. Then, they’re going to get drunk and drive the golf carts into the sand traps and on the greens.”. The Malbons decided that an indoor arena, where they could bring friends and slowly introduce them to the sport, was the smarter approach.

As many of you know Malbon Golf did a collaboration with Nike called "Pray for the Youth." Myself and several other colleagues have ordered items on their website but still have not received the them. According to their website,it states items will be shipped in10 days. I still have not received any updates regarding my order.

I'm in the camp of people that ordered something from the Nike x Malbon release. I picked up the hat (everything else was either overpriced or too extra for me). I got the "it will be 14 additional business days" email like Lopey did who was quoted above. It definitely seems to me that this was a pre order not labeled as a pre order.

I like a lot of their stuff and bit the bullet on a hat a while back. It was not cheap and it was ordered on 8/31. It had not shipped until I called them today. I had to actually call their store in LA, because they don't have a phone number listed for customer service, only an email.

What is Malbon Golf?
Which leads us back to Malbon Golf, an apparel and equipment line with streetwear roots and sportswear sensibilities. The brand’s goal is to make golf attire much more versatile and appealing for a younger audience; gear somebody can wear on and off the course. And it’s not just skate-inspired graphics and tie-dyes, but also working with partners like Nike on redefining silhouettes. “Nike makes Jordans and Air Maxes for the course and all these golfers wear them with slacks, so it makes them look like assistant coaches on college football teams; the silhouettes don’t lock up to the gear. So what we’re doing is making stuff like a mesh polo to wear with some Jordans and basketball shorts, or running, athletic shorts to go with the Air Maxes.”
Where is Malbon Golf located?
Then in 2017, Malbon Golf opened its first shop on Fairfax Avenue, right in the heart of Los Angeles’s iconic streetwear scene. Since then, the white-walled, art gallery-like shop has become a hotbed for those seeped in the various realms of street culture, including Eric Koston, Schoolboy Q, Keith Hufnagel, and many more, all of whom love the sport.
Is golf a lucrative sport?
For most of those already with a stake in golf, the future of the sport appears promising and, more importantly, lucrative. For professional golfers, the purse sizes, endorsement deals and accommodations haven’t been better; for fanatics and casual fans, the mixed field of young and veterans players–including Tiger ’s magnificent return to form–has made pro-golf as exciting as ever. And for the big corporate sponsors, clubs and tours, revenue and participation are on a slow but steady rise since America’s last economic recession.
