well without having any prior knowledge of these shafts - i would say that they are taper tipped shafts and they would not need any tip trim at all and just butt trim to length

They are .355 Taper Tips. The measurement I am looking for is the RAW 5 iron length, not installed in a head. I need to prep the shafts for some heads that are arriving today.

According to the data spec sheet on the i110w's the 3 iron shaft is 40" and the wedge shaft 36.5 if they decrease in half inch increments that would make the raw length of the five iron shaft 39" uncut.......
