I currently have a 2016 M1 driver and I'm looking to upgrade to either a 2017 M2 or an M4. Anyone hit all of them and have an opinion? I'm a 4 handicap with about a 105 swing speed for reference.

No I don't think so... I've had my M1 set in neutral weighting the whole time I've had it so I figure I'm paying for something I'm not even going to use if I get the M3.

I didn’t try M1 or M2 but I can say M4 won out for me this summer against F8, G400 (max&LST), Rogue, and M3. Love the club! Ultimately the only way to figure it out is to go demo them yourself. Tons of people love the Rogue and Rogue sz. These options came in last choice for me.

I have the 2016 M1 and have yet to upgrade since I still hit it farther than the newer models. I upgraded my shaft only. Have compared it to 2017 M1/M2 and M3. Didn't even try M4 since it's not for me. My driver swing speed is 117-119 and I play the M1 with low/neutral setting.

Is the M1 a different ball?
So are they different at all then? Well yes, actually they are. The first thing to point out is the ball flight. Notice how much more consistent the ball flight was with the new M1, with much tighter left and right dispersion. We think this comes from a more stable clubface on off-centre hits – we certainly felt less of a drop off in feel from the new M1 on mishits.
Is Taylormade M1 good?
So if you’ve got the original M1, we don’t think there’s a huge reason for you to switch from old to new, but there’s no question the new TaylorMade M1 is one of the best performing drivers on the market at the moment. So if you have an R15 or something older than that, it might be worth you forking out for the upgrade this time around.
