I play ProV1x's at the moment...I would primarily use them for practice rounds, chipping and putting etc... etc... Thanks!

i love prov1x but i hate prov1. im a weirdo. i have not tried but according to some members, golf galaxy and/or golf smith let you sort the x-out/practice boxes so that you can just get one kind. if youre not near either of them, i'd say just buy what you like

I'll give my free advice on this one as I play both Pro V1s and Pro V1xs. When I was fitted for my driver a few years ago the pro/fitter suggested the Pro V1x as I tend to get some side spin and had a 105 mph swing speed. He said the 1x spins a little less but needs a little higher SS to compress and be optimized.

I tend to use Practice because they are just about the same thing (unlike the X-outs) and for $30, and they play great. I had to scour many boxes to make a box of ProV1X, but it was worth it.
