Don't worry about scoring bad at first, once you level up your clubs and start earning new ones (Big Air clubs in particular will be very helpful) your yardage will see noticable improvement and you will reach green more easily. Do not worry about trophies requiring you to score eagle, long putt or spin trick shots, you will have plenty of tries to do these and most likely you will earn them without thinking.
