Saw the Kucher (think it was Kucher?) episode of Ferhety (sp?) on Golf Channel and he had used a carpet that was out of Toyota trunks? Something like that.

I think mine is STAR PRO, I can't remember. Got it online a few years back on Ebay. It's synthetic bent grass that stimps at 10. I found that laying it over a hard surface (i.e. concrete) can actually get it to stimp to 10.5 (yes I checked it with an actual stimpmeter). Putting it over regular carpet registers right about 10.

Hi guys, I ended up buying the Toyota Camry carpet for my putting green in my own bedroom. I used 2x6s for the framing for some 1" thick particle board. I used the Camry carpet and it turned out incredible. I putt on it 4-5 hours a day. I'm addicted to it lol - it rolls at about 10-11 and its equivalent to some top greens.
