I've researched this myself here and see a lot of people say they use Testors enamel paint. I think it's model paint. I have some Ben Hogan Edge irons that I plan on working on this winter.

I've painted my MP-33's with a light blue and they look great but it was a struggle for me. The lettering of the MIZUNO is very shallow and it was so very easy to wipe out some of the paint.

for the shallow ones, I just let them set overnight, used a wet cloth (tissue) with acetone and wiped very lightly. I need to get some orange and take care of the R in my R9.

If you're worried about removal of excess paint after you fill, cut a playing card into small strips and use it as a squeegie to scrape off the excess. Makes it much easier to clean up after everything dries.

I did mine and i took nail polish remover and a pocketknife and scraped out the old paint. Then i got a big paintbrush and applied ALOT of paint all over the area i wanted painted (MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET THE PAINT IN THE GROOVES OF THE FACE) and then left it for 30 seconds and then wiped it all off.
